Additional Information & Corrections There are no camping areas in the following areas; Admiral Group and Stubbs Point NOTE; the campsite on Iroquois Island is difficult to find, it is situated on the north end 20-30 ft up along the trail to the small lake, access to island is also very difficult Additions - There is fresh water found in the upper lagoon of Goose Island, NOTE: this water can be very brackish
- Fisher Point north of Seaforth Channel has a native totem pole
- CAMPING AREAS;
North inlet of Stirling Island Bardswell Group at Quinoot Point and adjacent to the long unnamed island near Dufferin Island south of the tidal rapids(near an old native fish trap) Centre of Louise Channel Cree Point there are two sites but maybe difficult to notice - NOTE: the campsite at the north end of the McNaughton Group should only be used for emergencies
Remember: Traveling along the mid-coast region brings many problems most notably camping areas, - They are very few and far between, most campsites are generally smaller in size
- Some may be more difficult to find along the shoreline,
- During high tides many campsites can be flooded
- It is important to check your tide tables before making camp
