Covers most of Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, from Lyell Island in the north to Cape Saint James in the south. Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve has a reputation all over the world for it’s Haida culture and spectacular marine life. Burnaby Narrows is reputed to contain the richest amounts of marine life in the world. Ninstints/Anthony Island on the southwestern coast of Moresby Island, is a designated world heritage site, known for exceptional native totem poles still standing and what remains of a once prolific native village. Rose Harbour situated between Kungit and Moresby Island in Houston Stewart Passage is the only settlement within the boundaries of Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and is a popular launch point for sea kayakers touring the southern archipelago. North of Burnaby Narrows is Hotsprings Island, another very popular site known for it’s spectacular geothermal hotsprings.
