Covers the northeastern half of Moresby Island, from Sandspit in the north to Lyell Island in the south. On the west coast, from Englefield bay in the north to Barry Inlet in the south. This area also covers the northern waters of Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve from the Tangil Peninsula to northern Lyell Island. There are several ancient native villages at Skedans and Tanu and both have exceptional archeological features. Porter Head at the end of the Tangil Peninsula is just one of the many spectacular headlands kayakers pass by along the coastline. Situated south of Sandspit are several Forestry Sites in Shelden and Gray Bays providing excellent recreational opportunities. There is also a popular beach trail that follows the shoreline from Gray Bay to Cumshewa Head.
